Solution added, but no menu appears

I've successfully deployed the solution, but there is not a new menu item, "Manage User Membership", under:
Site Actions > Site Settings > Modify All Site Settings: User and Permissions.

Under Central Admin > Operations > Solution Management, the solution shows as deployed:
Name: moss.customadminpages.usermembership.feature.wsp
Type: Core Solution
Contains Web Application Resource: No
Contains Global Assembly: Yes
Contains Code Access Security Policy: No
Deployment Server Type: Front-end Web server
Deployment Status: Deployed
Deployed To: Globally deployed.
Last Operation Result: The solution was successfully deployed.
Last Operation Details: XXXXXX: The solution was successfully deployed.

Am I missing something painfuly obvious :)

You have to activate the feature after deployment:
1) go to Site Actions > Site Settings > Modify All Site Settings and open Site Collection Features under Site Collection Administration.
2) click on Activate button of Manager User Membership feature
3) only now you will have a new menu under Manage User Membership in Site Actions > Site Settings > Modify All Site Settings: User and Permissions.

:o) Doh! I thought I had already activated the feature on the site collection level... apprarently I didn't ;)

I added the solution successfully but when I try to activate it as a feature from site collection features i didn't find it , how can i resolve this problem ?
